Your “presents” is requested as it’s starting to look a lot like a ChristMESS. So lets Brighton up Christmess!
This ChristMESS, Brighton’s famous Jubilee Square will be transformed into the ultimate winter wonderland, complete with a Snowglobe-esque Dream Dome and heaters to keep you toasty. This magical festive pop-up is complete with Alpine Ski lift chairs and Gondolas for an Apres worthy of the Alps! Our cosy caravan bar will also be on site selling all your favourite Winter Warmers and our speciality Christmas Cocktails – Salted Caramel White Russian anybody?
We are all in need of some festive cheer this year. So the team at Midsummer Nightcap are here to get all our elves off furlough and back to work in saving Christmas this year! We have a wonderful array of festive food, shows and will have lots of stalls and goodies from local independent shops on sale. So come join us….

It is important as ever to keep adapting and showing our support for this industry, when you come to one of our events you are supporting small independents- artists, event providers, staff, live musicians who have barely had any opportunity to perform this year.
You can Mistle toast the Season in our winter wonderland for the whole of December in Jubilee Square during this month, with festive drinks, nibbles and fun! We also have a number of various entertainment, workshops and shows on.

This December, step inside the wondrous world of Hooray Cabaret, a fabulous and festive mix of Drag, Burlesque, Comedy and Circus. Featuring established artists and exciting new acts, let us round off your year with sparkle and merriment!
Each ticket also includes our famous It Ain’t Easy Being Cheesey feasting platter – complete with delicious artisan cheese and other festive nibbles such as pigs in blankets. Vegan options available.

A musical bingo game for all ages, celebrating the Christmas music we all love! Join our host Miss Disney as she takes you through her favourite Christmas music, featuring festive movie songs, timeless classics, girl bands, boy bands, X Factor winners and losers, and more! Prizes to be won!
Each ticket also includes our famous It Ain’t Easy Being Cheesey feasting platter – complete with delicious artisan cheese and other festive nibbles such as pigs in blankets. Vegan options available. We also have a special kids festive platter with a grilled cheese toasty, alongside a selection of fruit, vegetables, Proper-corn and a Bear bar.
6th, 12th, 20th December
Join us for a legendary musical bingo game celebrating the best and worst of Christmas music from across the decades, hosted by Brighton’s award winning Drag Prince Alfie Ordinary. Join Alfie as he takes you through a compilation of his favourite Christmas music with one hit wonders, 80s power ballads, disco classics, girl bands, boy bands, X Factor Winners, X Factor Losers, and more.

This year certainly has been a hard one for us all; and we’re in some need of festive cheer! The usual Christmas party is out of the window, however, Christmas isn’t cancelled. We are offering a fantastic opportunity for Brighton-based businesses to provide some much needed festive fun for their employees. Enjoy a socially distanced Christmas festival with music and Cabaret in the heart of Brighton, at the Christmas Pundemic.
We have various drinks and entertainment packages available as well as complete hire of our venue for a social distanced event. Please get in touch to see our packages and options.
NHS Test and Trace
We will be using the NHS test and trace system at the event to insure the maximum safety of staff, customers and artists. The purpose is to rapidly detect people who have recently come into close contact with a new Covid-19 case, and then take swift action to minimise transmission of the virus.
When you book your ticket we will need the name of the leader of your group and their contact number. These details will be ethically and safely stored, complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your names and contact numbers will only ever be used if the NHS contact us directly asking for it. This is a voluntary requirement but we hope that you assist us in supporting the NHS, by preventing another serious outbreak.

Cancellation and Covid
This event is compliant with Government guidelines, therefore you may only be able to attend with those members of your household. Social distancing is in place our staff will wear PPE and we ask you wear masks when not seating at your event. This event is held outside to mitigate transmission risks. In the event of an extended National Lockdown we will have to cancel this event, you will be offered a chance to move your ticket dates if this is allowed. Following this will be offering a full refund on the ticket price this does not include the cost of the Booking Fee through SEE.
Please be aware we will be providing bag searches as people enter the site, for your own safety our handler will be wearing gloves and will not touch items where possible. Please do not bring any prohibited items on site. Some events will require an ID for entry as well as purchasing a drink on site.
We have three individual sessions each day so it is important to stick to the schedule times. We would advise arrival at least 15 minutes before your allocated attendance. When your session finishes, we kindly ask you to make your way out of the signposted exit so our team has time to thoroughly clean and clear for the next sitting.
Food and Drink
No external food or drink can be brought onto the event site. Our caravan bar will be on site for any required beverages and we would ask for any alcoholic drinks purchased to be consumed on site. We operate a challenge 25 policy, so if you are lucky enough to look under 25 you will be asked for ID upon order, or delivery, of an alcoholic drink. Alcohol will only be served to those 18 or over so please bring ID.
Each session includes a meat or vegetarian option. If you have any dietary requirements, please get in touch and specify your preferences or allergies.
This is an outdoor event, with rain covering so please be prepared for the Cold Weather -While we have some heaters, and we will try our best to warm you with the Christmas cheer please do bring layers to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible. We will have blankets for sale on site. We may have to cancel due to extreme weather if we deem the conditions unsafe.
Children under the age of 3 can come for free. All children’s tickets include a children’s meal designed for ages 4-12 outlined on the SEE tickets website. Children can not attend the evening sessions or the bottomless brunch due to adult themes.
Evening Parental Warnings
Please be aware there are adult themes and swearing in a couple of our shows and we strongly advise under 16s not to attend, we will not sell children tickets to these shows.
This is an outdoor event with full wheelchair access. Any further requirements needed please do get in touch with email@example.com and we will try to accommodate.
As you will see, this event is only available for groups up to a maximum of six due to social distancing legislation, please only attend the event if you follow government guidelines of your tier.
Dogs are allowed on site but please keep them on a lead and under control.
